Some of the
increase in burden hours and costs that has been approved under
this clearance should have been included in previous clearance
requests but has only now been properly accounted for. These
oversights should be highlighted in the relevant Information
Collection Budget submission from USPTO. It has come to OMB's
attention that USPTO may be revising its estimate of the burden
hours associated with the transmittal form that is covered under
this package. USPTO will explain and justify this new burden
estimate the next time it requests any change to this clearance
package.
