Terms of Clearance: This request is improperly submitted and must be resubmitted with the following changes to receive approval: correct burden amount, as the 83-I and supporting statement request 20,000 hours but the Terms of Clearance from the last approval state that the amount is actually 20; inclusion of the Federal Register Notice inviting applications; a clearly labeled grant application package complete with submission instructions. Although the current collection will expire on 12/31/2003, OSERS does not have to publish a 30 or a 60 day notice in the Federal Register.

Abstract: NIDRR provides grants for research and related activites in Rehabilitation of Individuals with disabilities. The grant application package contains program profiles, standard forms, program regulations, sample rating forms, and transmitting instructions. Applications are primarily institutions of higher education, but may also include hospitals, State Rehabilitation education agencies and voluntary and profit organizations.
