Abstract: This information is required to implement several Act of Congress concerning the recording of mining claims, annual maintenance of such claims, collection of statutory location and maintenance fees, and adjudication of mineral rights under the General Mining Law of 1872, the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 and the Stockraising Homestead Act amendments of 1993. Affected persons are the owners of un- patented mining claims, mill sites, and tunnel sites located and held on public and other Federal mineral estates in the United States.
