FERC-577 information is required by the Comission to implement the statutory provisions of Section 102(2)(C) of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (Pub. L. 91-190) (42 U.S.C. 4332). NEPA requires that all Federal agencies must include on major Federal actions signficatly affecting the quality of human life are to conduct environmental assessment.
