Abstract: These 41 forms, covering production, consumption, stocks, and receipts of industrial mineral commodities, are critical to the industrial minerals data collection effort, and are used for military and civilian planning, and economic policy decisions related to the commodities covered, which include phosphate rock, sulfur, cement, stone, sand and gravel, fluorspar, and others. Questions about the production, consumption, and uses of industrial mineral commodities are structured in the canvass forms to provide meaningful aggregated data.
