Abstract: The proposal would establish requirements for persons who use sampling services (services that collect samples on behalf of another party) and private laboratories, sampling services, and private laboratories used in connection with imported food. The proposal would require persons using sampling services and private laboratories to notify FDA and would contain requirements to ensure that samples are properly identified, collected, and maintained.
