Abstract: Recent outbreaks of emerging zoonotic diseases such as SARS, monkeypox, and avian influenza have highlighted that the veterinary comunity is vulnerable to infection with these diseases. The proposed survey asks vets about infection control procedures employed in their clinics and use of personal protectived equipment to prevent zoonotic disease transmission.
