The Comprehensive Environmental
Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 (CERCLA or
Superfund), as amended, gives the President broad authority to
respond to releases and threats of releases of hazardous
substances, pollutants, and contaminants (as defined in CERCLA)
into the environment. The National Oil and Hazardous Substances
Pollution Contingency Plan (NCP) details the requirements of
CERCLA. This ICR addresses information collected in the remedial
portion of the Superfund Program, as specified by CERCLA and the
