Abstract: Originial Nonroad Equipment Manufacturers may install non- compliant engines in a portion or all of their production for up to seven years after the effective date of Tier I standards for compression ignition engines rated below 37 kW or Tier II stan- dards for compression ignition engines rated at or above 37 kW, provided they comply with applicable regulations found at 40 CFR 89.102 and keep records. Engine manufacturers who supply the noncompliant engines to be under this program must also submit reports and keep records for their activities under the program.
