Abstract: US EPA is promulgating the Proposed Regulations for Cooling Water Intake Structures at Phase III Facilities under Section 316(b) of the Clean Water Act, 33 USC Section 1326(b). The information requested will be included in permit applications and will be used by a permitting authority to assess the facility -level compliance with the requirements of the rule.
