This is a survey of seafood and
industrial fish processing firms. Firms processing fish from
certain fisheries must report on their annual volume, the wholesale
value of products, and monthly employment figures. Data are used in
economic analyzes to estimate the capacity and extent to which
processors utilize domestic harvest. These analyzes are necessary
to carry out the provision of the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery
Conservation and Management Act.
