Abstract: The purpose of this information collection is to allow states to apply for funding under the Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) program. The information collected in the GEAR UP application package allows the Department to make determinations as to whether potential applications are eligible for GEAR UP funding and to allow field readers to score and rank applications for the Department to make funding determinations.
