In RM96-1-026(NOPR) natural gas pipelines will be required to modify electronic communication standards and adopt the most recent version, Version 1.7 of the consensus standards created by the Wholesale Gas Quadrant (WGC) of the North American Energy Standards Board (NAESB). In addition, FERC is proposing to adopt standards ratified by NAESB on 6/25/04 implementing FERC's requirements in Order No. 2004 plus proposing to adopt the gas quality reporting requirements ratified by NAESB on 10/20/04.
