agrees to submit to OMB no later than 2-weeks from the date of the
receipt of this Notice of Action a description of plans and actions
to be taken to improve the percentage of this paperwork that is
collected electronically above 50%. The description submitted in
2-weeks may be general in nature if it is followed by a more
detailed description no later than 2 months from the date of this
Notice of Action.

The information generated by these
requirements is used to (a) evaluate contractror proposals for
modifications, (b) determine whether the contractor has removed
obstructions to navigation, (c) review contractor requests for
payment for mobilization and demobilization, and (d) determine
status of offeror as U.S. or Marchalese firm, in order to provide
preference in accordance with Section 112 of Public Law
104-45.
