proposed incentive level must be submitted to and approved by OMB
prior to fielding. The collection instrument must display the OMB
number, expiration date, and burden statement - NSF shall sumbit
updated versions of the instrument to OMB as soon as possible but
no later than 05/06/05. If the response rate for the proposed
collection is below 75% NSF will consult with OMB prior to
disseminating results. In the next submission of this package NSF
shall provide a report addressing the results of the current
request.

This study will survey respondents to
the 2003 URO survey of undergraduate participants in NSP programs.
The survey will provide an overview of undergraduate research
experiences and respondents' perceptions of the effects of those
experiences on their careers and decisions about graduate school.
The informaiton will allow the National Science Foundation to
review its portfolio of programs that support undergraduate
research to determine whether there needs to be any rebalancing of
activities or objectives.
