EPA is seeking emergency permission to request first and second quarter data reporting and recordkeeping to implement an exemption from the phaseout of methyl bromide for critical uses. The reporting and recordkeeping are necessary to ensure an unin- terrupted exemption program, to ensure industry compliance with the provisions of the exemption, and to maintain U.S. compliance with the Montreal Protocol. The respondents are producers, importers, distributors, applicators and users of methyl bromide.
