The 2002
clearance package included terms of clearance requesting FERC to
report on efforts to accomodate the electronic submission of data
as a means of reducing burden and cost on respondents. FERC has not
made any progress to date. Therefore, FERC may no longer require
respondents to submit 8 copies of their submission and must make
copies as needed at the agency's expense. Upon FERC's next request
to extend this information collection, the commission must describe
the progress made regarding its e-filing initiatives.
