Terms of Clearance: This new generic clearance is approved with the following understanding between DOL/ETA and OMB as to how it will be managed. 1. Funding announcements contained under this generic clearance will be added and removed via 83-C. Each 83-C submission will include burden adjustments, a clear description of the forms to be added and removed, a description of any new funding opportunities added, and a copy of the form or exact criteria list intended to guide respondents submissions to ETA. 2. ETA will submit an annual list to OMB of the funding announcements and burden hours currently contained under this generic clearance.

Abstract: Requesting approval for a generic Soliciation for Grant Application form for information collection requirements for SGAs that extend beyond what is collected on currently approved standards forms. OMB approval of this generic SGA from will assist the Department to carry out its responsibilities under the Paperwork Reduction Act by accurately accounting for the public burden associated with grant applications through promoting a common structure for reporting the information collection requirements contained in DOL's SGAs.
