Abstract: The purpose of this information collection is to ensure the humane handling, care, treatment, and transportation of regulated animals under the AWA Act and to make sure that regulated facilities are keeping certain records regarding APHIS' space, transportation, exercise plan, and perimeter fence requirements.

Short Statement: Collection 0579-0115, Animal Welfare, Marine Mammals is being consolidated with this collection, 0579-0093, as part of this renewal package. These two collections include the same regulations and the same forms; therefore, it will be more efficient to have them cosolidated into one collection. When the collections were combined and figures adjusted, burden figures went from 9,270 to 46,821.
