Customer satisfaction surveys are
required by Executive Order 12862. U.S. Coast Guard will use
information obtained from direct customers to measure satisfaction
with current services and determine whether additional service are
required. Numbers in block 13 are estimates.
This information collection was
submitted to DHS on June 24,2006 to be process to OMB. During this
process, a survey was submitted for OMB's approval using OMB's 83-C
which these hours were not account for in this collection since it
was already submitted. This collection was not submitted to OMB,
but returned to the Coast Guard for processing in ROCIS this is the
reason for the discrepancy in burden hours.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
