Insured financial institutions must provide quarterly reports of condition and income to the appropriate regulatory for supervisory, surveillance, regulatory, research, insurance assessment and informational purposes.
The Financial Services Regulatory Relief Act, signed into law 10/13/06, eliminates certain insider lending reporting requirements. Some of these requirements have been implemented by the banking agencies through part of the Call Report. At OMB's request, FDIC and the other banking agencies are submitting emergency ICRs to obtain OMB approval to discontinue collecting this insider lending information.
