Program Characteristics Definitions:
Item 1a. Bargaining Agency Name. The formal name of the collective bargaining unit.
Item 2. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code. The Federal government major tool for classifying establishments by the type of activity in which they are engaged. The Office of Apprenticeship will be replacing the SIC with the North American Classification System (NAICS).
Item 2a. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Category. The grouping of establishments by type of economic activity in which they are engaged.
Item 2b. Products/Services. What the establishment provides according to the SIC Category.
Item 3. Sponsor’s Occupational Title. Specific title of an occupation that may or may not be the same as that designated by O’NET.
Item 4. School-To-Apprenticeship (STA) Agreement. Formal arrangement between the sponsor and a secondary school for registering youth between the ages of 16-17 in an apprenticeship program.

this collection of information unless it displays a currently valid
OMB control number. Public reporting burden for this collection of
information, Program Registration – Section I, is estimated to
average 10 minutes per response, including the time for reviewing
instructions, searching existing data sources, gathering and
maintaining the data needed, and completing and reviewing the
collection of information. Submission is required to obtain or
retain benefits (29 USC 50). Send comments regarding this burden
