Abstract: The purposes of this data collection are to generate biennial data on the total number of private schools, teachers, and students; and to build an NCES frame of private schools to serve as a sampling frame for NCES surveys that include private schools. This survey is an ongoing project to improve NCES universe and sample data on private schools.
