The FTC is seeking a straight
extension of the clearance for the information collection
requirements contained in its Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust
Improvements Act Rules and the FTC's corresponding Notification and
Report Form for Certain Mergers and Acquisitions.
The 72,375 increase in burden
hours (from approximately 84,020 hours to 156,395 hours) is an
adjustment due to an increase in the number of non-index
filings.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
