Abstract: The Federal Trade Commission (“FTC” or “Commission”) proposes to conduct an analysis of food and beverage industry marketing to children and adolescents. This analysis will examine advertising and promotional techniques and expenditures by industry members that target the marketing of certain food and beverage products to this population. The Commission will seek the information necessary to prepare this analysis through compulsory process under Section 6(b) of the FTC Act, 15 U.S.C. § 46(b).
