Abstract: The paperwork provisions of the Standard specify requirements for marking the rated load on derricks, preparing certification records to verify the inspection of derrick ropes, and posting warning signs while the derrick is undergoing adjustments and repairs. Certification records must be maintained and disclosed upon request.

The decrease is due to a reestimation in the number of derricks in general industry, from 10,000 to 500.
