Abstract: FMVSS No. 106, Brake Hoses (49 C.F.R. Part 571.106), specifies the labeling and performance requirements for motor vehicle brake hoses. Manufacturers of brake hose components, and brake hose assemblies, must register their identification mark with NHTSA to comply with this standard and to facilitate the recall of defective materials.
