1 Privacy data is collected on individuals by OPM’s E-QIP security system separately cleared by OPM, however, DOE imposes an additional burden by requiring a background check of all personnel recommended for a security clearance. An adjustment in the number of respondents is being made to correct an error.

2 This would rarely occur in other than a management contract so the number of respondents and burden hours are a subset of those shown at item 29 for DEAR 970.5223-1.

3 The estimate of respondents and burden hours associated with this include those that might occur under item 12 for DEAR 952.223-71.

4 A Biobased Preference component was added to the APP, generally applicable to management contractors, but while it will double the number of products involved there is no reporting requirement and therefore the burden does not increase.
