Changing Regulations
This 280 hour reduction of burden is the result of a program change. BIS plans to publish a rule entitled “Revisions to License Exceptions TMP and BAG: Expansion of Eligible Items.” This rule expands the availability of License Exceptions Temporary Imports, Exports, and Reexports (TMP) and Baggage (BAG) to allow for certain temporary exports and reexports of technology (including technical data) by U.S. persons to U.S. persons or their employees traveling or temporarily assigned abroad.
