This 280 hour reduction of
burden is the result of a program change. BIS plans to publish a
rule entitled Revisions to License Exceptions TMP and BAG:
Expansion of Eligible Items. This rule expands the availability of
License Exceptions Temporary Imports, Exports, and Reexports (TMP)
and Baggage (BAG) to allow for certain temporary exports and
reexports of technology (including technical data) by U.S. persons
to U.S. persons or their employees traveling or temporarily
assigned abroad.
