The FFIEC requires U.S. branches and
agencies of foreign banks that manage or control any non-U.S.
branch to provide selected balance sheet information on such
non-U.S. branches quarterly on this interagency report to assist in
the supervision of U.S. office of foreign banks, and to augment the
bank credit, loan, and deposit information needed for monetary
policy purposes.
