AGENCY: Coast Guard, DHS.


ACTION: Sixty-day notice requesting comments.

SUMMARY: In compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, the

U.S. Coast Guard intends to submit an Information Collection Request

(ICR) and Analysis to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB)

requesting an approval for the following collection of information:

1625-0077, Security Plans for Ports, Vessels, Facilities, and Outer

Continental Shelf Facilities and Other Security-Related Requirements.

Before submitting this ICR to OMB, the Coast Guard is inviting comments

as described below.


DATES: Comments must reach the Coast Guard on or before April 28, 2008.

Information Collection Request


Title: Security Plans for Ports, Vessels, Facilities, and Outer

Continental Shelf Facilities and Other Security-Related Requirements.

OMB Control Number: 1625-0077.

Summary: This information collection is associated with the

maritime security requirements mandated by the Maritime Transportation

Security Act (MTSA) of 2002. Security assessments, security plans, and

other security-related requirements are found in Title 33 CFR chapter

I, subchapter H, and 33 CFR parts 120 and 128.

Need: This information is needed to determine if vessels and

facilities are in compliance with certain security standards.

Forms: CG-6025 and CG-6025A.

Respondents: Vessel, facility owners, and operators.

Frequency: On occasion.

Burden Estimate: The estimated burden has decreased from 1,883,457

hours to 1,278,068 hours a year.
