Cutting Redundancy
The previous NIMSCAST tool hours burden was 11,365 and has been modified to reduce the hours burden to 9218. The scope and requirements of the collection have not changed, the modification to the tool eliminates redundancy in the questions. The collection tools are now created and labeled for the respondents; the prior tool for the Local and Tribal respondents were combined as one. Now there are separate tools for each.
