Short Statement: 1.) Prior paperwork burden estimate for 2003-2005 period was 1,347 hours. This estimate was based upon an annual average of 449 SF 278 forms, those received ONLY at OGE from private citizen/representative nominee and terminee filers, and Presidential & Vice Presidential candidates. Burden estimate for 2007-2009 is adjusted to cover private citizen filers throughout the executive branch. 2.) Prior private citizen cost burden for 2003-2005 was reported as "1"($1,000) per consultation with OMB. OGE provides annual estimates on private citizen filer burden hours and filer hour burden costs ($623,700 annual filer hour burden cost estimate 2007-2009 period).
