Comments

Section B

Typo: “Next, data tables will b shown…” Change to: “Next, data tables will be shown”

Number 1: Typo: “You will select from a list all…” Change to: “You will select from a list of all…”

Numbers 4, 5 & 6: “You will complete the same steps from 1…” Change to: “You will complete the same steps from step 1, from step 2, etc”

Number 9: Table for Trustworthiness Determinations: 99% of the time, we submit positions of trust directly to the agencies themselves and not through DSS. It would be nice if you specify if you are tallying all submittals, regardless of if they are being submitted through DSS or not. In addition, is this going to include those submittals that fall under the new HSPD12 legislation? If not, you may want to specify to the FSOs not to count those numbers. Also, on the tables for Trustworthiness, you should consider including NACIs as they are frequently requested for positions of trust and are neither a NAC or a NACLC.

Above the “OK” button, there is a line stating “DOD_Instructions_Page” that seems to serve no purpose.

Section 1

Would you want to differentiate between the military branches and the reserves?

Section 2

For the SSBI PR column on all the tables, for consistency with the other PR columns, you should have it read “Top Secret PR” instead of “SSBI PR”.

On the list of Non DOD agencies, please explain what is meant by “Foreign Government”

Methodology Section

It would be helpful to state at the beginning of the survey that before you start collecting your data, you should be conscious of your methodology and be prepared to answer later on in the survey how you retrieved your data. I can imagine that a lot of people randomly guess these numbers without putting much forethought into how they arrived at that conclusion. Getting them to think about methodology FIRST may allow you to receive more accurate numbers.

End of Survey

At the end of the survey, it may be nice to include a warning stating that once you hit submit, you will not be able to change or retract your answers.
