Terms of Clearance: This collection is approved for 1 year for the class of individuals who are deemed to not be covered by HSPD-12. DoD will provide to OMB, no later than 6-months from the date of approval of this information collection, a plan specifying how the DoD will migrate all individuals covered by HSPD-12 from the current Department's National Capital Region building pass to the Department's CAC card. This plan must list those categories of individuals the Department deems not covered by HSPD-12.

Abstract: The information collected is used by the Pentagon Force Protection Agency to verify need and to issue a DOD Buidling Pass to individuals who regularly work in or require frequent and continuing access to DOD owned or occupied buildings in the National Capital Region. Individuals may be DOD personnel, other authorized U.S. Government personnel, and DoD consultants and experts.
