We need your help to prepare the first forecast for California’s 2008 spring potato acreage. Please complete this questionnaire and return it by March 14 in the enclosed postage-paid envelope or you may fax it to us toll-free at 1-888-478-5637.


Response to this survey is voluntary and not required by law. However, your cooperation is very important to make California’s estimates more accurate. Individual reports are kept confidential and only used in State totals.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Report total acreage for spring potatoes that will be shipped by your firm. Include your own spring potato acreage plus acreage you expect to ship for others.

  • Report expected acreage for the entire spring – normally harvested in April through July or early August. If necessary, estimate the acreage for the latter part of this period.

  • If you have no acreage to report, or are no longer in the potato business, please note this and return your form.
