Dear Tobacco Grower: This inquiry is being sent to a sample of tobacco growers to obtain information on which to make reliable estimates of this year’s tobacco crop. Please help by answering the questions listed below and then return your report promptly in the enclosed envelope, which requires no stamp. Response to this survey is voluntary and not required by law. However, in order that the estimates be accurate, it is necessary that we receive replies from as many individual growers as possible. Your individual reporrt will be held confidential. The tobacco estimates will be published on August 12th. Thank you for your cooperation.
