Justification for No Material Nonsubstantive Change
The currently approved collection was a survey conducted in 2007. It was used to assess the OCC’s efforts to provide support and technical assistance to nationally chartered Minority-Owned National Banks (MONBs). To perform this assessment, it was necessary to obtain, from the individual MONBs, feedback on the effectiveness of OCC’s efforts at that time and suggestions for enhancing its supervisory efforts and assistance going forward. The current survey is a follow up survey proposed for administration in 2009 is designed to collect data against which the OCC can compare 2007 baseline data to measure agency performance in the area of MONB support.
