The change is due to a reassessment of the Number of Respondents and the Frequency of Responses per Year. Therefore the Total Burden Hours has decreased significantly. The burden hours may change as they are based on the number of Ginnie Mae issuers (respondents) participating in the mortgage-backed securities programs, as well as other economic factors that occur in the mortgage industry. Because of the number of forms, it was necessary to add another IC. The burden hours are further reduced due to the creation of the Reporting and Feedback System which will consolidate approximately 4 forms (11710A, 11710E, 11710D, 11748C) and 2 additional monthly reporting requirements (Monthly Loan Level, Remaining Principal Balance) into one monthly electronic reporting requirement.
