SEVP has been aggressive in addressing the root causes for the issuance of I-515s by directing specific informational and educational materials to students and EVs encouraging them to handcarry travel documents. SEVP issued a Fact Sheet this June encouraging schools to include such information, as well as instructions in how to complete an I-94, in their registration materials. SEVP believes that such efforts are the key in the mitigation of burden hours.
