Abstract: This is a survey of commercial fishing operations and for hire diving and fishing operations that operate in and around the current Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary (FGBNMS). Information will be obtained to assess the potential socioeconomic impacts of expanding the boundaries of the FGBNMS and potential research only areas. Use information is organized at spatial scales that will support assessments of alternative boundary configurations.
