-Note To ReviewerThe following question will be added to the 2009 data collection under 1218-0209. The question
will only be asked of establishments in the construction industry (approximately 20,000 of the
100,000 respondents):
Response to this question is optional: Is your business currently working on a project
funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Stimulus Plan)?
OSHA estimates it will take 3 minutes (.05 hour) for each respondent to respond to the question,
adding 1,000 hours increasing the total burden hours from 16,633 to 17,633 hours.
The information generated by this question will allow OSHA to focus resources towards
construction establishments with high rates of injuries and illnesses that are working on projects
funded by the ARRA.
