Abstract: The Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 created a section 213A of the Immigration and Nationality Act (Act). Section 213A requires every sponsor to notify the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the State, in which the sponsor is currently a resident, of his or her new address within thirty (30) days of any change of address.
