OME has reduced the total number of respondents form 50 to 48 as the states of Rhode Island and Connecticut are not actively operating programs at this time; in additional, the total number of burden hours has increased due to changes to the survey that require 1.25 ours to complete in place of 1 hour. For states that do not participate in the initiative, there is now a box to check to opt out of the survey. Additional definitions have been provided to clarify survey questions. Additional sections have been added regarding state agreements with Mexico and the Apostille document verification process. Clarifications and specific questions were added to the existing sections of student demographics and achievement, textbook distribution, the transfer document and the Teacher Exchange Program.
