The survey collects information from
State Migrant Education Programs (MEPs) on their participation in
the Binational Migrant Education Program (BMEP) to serve children
who migrate between Mexico and the U.S.

OME no longer funds MEP
programs in Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia; therefore,
the number of respondents has been reduced from 52 to 50. Each
respondent is equal to one hour; therefore, the number of requested
hours has also been reduced from 52 to 50.

the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
