Constituent Engagement Survey Announcement
Dear NOAA Constituent,
Thank you for your continued reliance upon NOAA as your atmospheric and oceanic resource. As a way
to continue to improve our products, services and information, NOAA has developed a Constituent
Engagement Survey to better access our agency’s engagement with constituents, like you.
During the next couple of days we will be administering this survey on behalf of the NOAA. To improve
the quality of NOAA’s engagement with the public, we invite you to complete this survey based on your
experiences with NOAA during the past two years. During this time period, NOAA has operated under
the following four mission goal areas: ecosystems, climate, weather and water, and commerce and
transportation. We would greatly appreciate hearing your views. The survey should take no more than
20 minutes to complete.
If you prefer to receive a written copy of the survey, please reply and a copy will be mailed to you,
including a prepaid postage return envelope.

Hello, this is _______________ calling form Eastern Research Group, Inc. (ERG) in regard to the NOAA
Constituent Engagement Survey that was sent to you two weeks ago. NOAA is working to improve their
engagement with constituents like you, and would appreciate your input by completing the survey
based on your experiences with NOAA over the past two years. The entire survey should take about 20
minutes to complete, or, if you would prefer, I can ask you just a few questions now. If now is not a
good time, we can schedule a time to perform the survey over the phone. Of course, you would not be
