APPLE INQUIRY
OMB: 0535-0039/2010-01-31
QID: 200511
Close window
Definitions:
Bearing Acreage: Acres from which you will harvest apples this year. Include blocks you rent from others, and
exclude blocks rented out. Deduct any waste area within blocks.
Expected Production: The total bushels you anticipate harvesting. Consider the current condition of your
orchards, and assume average weather and pest infestations until harvest.
Expected Percent of Full Crop: A full crop is the yield you would expect to achieve under normal production
conditions. This yield may or may not be the maximum production potential for your operation. Therefore, your
Expected Percent of Full Crop may exceed 100%. Example: You project a mature block should produce 300
bushels/acre and you estimate this year it will produce 350 bushels/acre or 117% of a full crop.
