Dear Reporter:
Official statistics of prices received by growers for the 2008 fig crop are now being prepared. Under "Dried Fruit Purchased" report the quantities of dried fruit average prices paid to growers on a dried fruit basis at the processing plant door. Response to this survey is voluntary and not required by law. However, cooperation is very important in order to accurately estimate the fig crop in California.
Please return this report by May 14 in the enclosed postage‑paid envelope or fax it to 1-888-478-5637. The data will be used only in determining STATE totals and averages. Individual reports are held CONFIDENTIAL. If you have any questions, please call Jennifer Van Court at 1-800-851-1127. Thank you for your assistance. |
