DOJ did not comply with the previous terms of clearance of providing updates to OMB regarding implementation of SENTRY. These terms of clearance continue to apply for the next submission: DOJ will provide updates to OMB regarding the implementation of SENTRY. Specifically, it will report on the effectiveness of the program to mitigate the impact of synthetic drugs in the US. Going forward, DOJ will also provide detailed information on who is using the information, and what they are using it for.

SENTRY/Emerging Drug Tracking System is an internet-based collection and dissemination system designed to help identify new syntetic drug-related behaviors at an early stage, evaluate their importance, and track their development. The ultimate goal of SENTRY is to inform and alert the counterdrug community to address problems at an early stage.
