Enrollment in the Federal Student Aid (FSA) Student Aid Internet Gateway (SAIG) allows eligible entities to securely exchange Title IV, Higher Education Act (HEA) assistance programs data electronically with the Department of Education processors. An adjustment of an additional 5,315 responses and 1,743 hours occurred due to an increase in the number of institutions using the web-based reporting form. While the creation of respondent-focused forms is expected to result in a respondent burden savings, the actual burden reduction cannot be determined until after the new streamlined forms have been implemented.
